2. Information We Collect
We collect and use the following information from you when you use the Application:
Activity Data: This includes the amount of time and effort you spend recycling daily.
Activity Photo Data: This includes the photo you take to validate your recycling time and efforts.
Geographic Data: This includes where you take the photo of your recycle activity.
Leaderboard Data: We collect the aggregate data of recycling time and efforts of all participants on the leaderboard. This data is used to calculate the sums and averages and other functions of recycling time and efforts for each participant. All participants can see the functions of other participants on the leaderboard. The leaderboard is updated regularly and is subject to change.
While using the Application, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you. We may also collect information that your device sends whenever you use the Application.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect or receive:
• To operate, maintain, enhance and provide all features of the Application.
• To provide you with the features and functionality of the Application.
• To provide services to the user.
• To understand and analyze the usage trends and preferences of our users.
• To compile aggregated statistics about site usage and response rates.
• To improve the Application and our services.
• To communicate with you about the Application and our services.
• To comply with our legal obligations.
4. Sharing Your Information
We only use the data for the purposes of the Application algorithm. We do not share any personally identifying information publicly or with third parties, except when required to by law.
YOUR ACTIVITY PHOTOS ARE SHARED WITH ANOTHER PARTICIPANT FOR VALIDATION. DO NOT TAKE OR UPLOAD A PHOTO THAT IS PERSONAL OF NATURE.
The user consents that the Application shares activity photos with another user for the purpose of validation of the activity.
We use third-party cloud service providers, including Amazon Web Services and the Microsoft Azure platform, to store and process some of the information you provide when using our application. These providers offer secure, scalable infrastructure that enables us to deliver our services efficiently. While we do not share your personal information with third parties, please note that your data may be stored on servers managed by these cloud providers. By using the application, you consent to the storage and processing of your data by these third-party providers as described in this privacy policy.
5. Keeping Your Information
We retain collected information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service.
6. Your Choices
You can choose to cancel using the Application and delete your account at your account page at any time. If you do so, we will delete your identifiable data from our servers and remove you from the leaderboard. Non identifiable data that is used in calculations are kept for necessity to keep the leaderboard and ranking intact.
If you have chosen to persist your data (your recycle actions, actions’ proof image hash, actions’ timestamp, your wallet address and actions’ validators’ wallet address) on the blockchain, it cannot be deleted. In blockchain technology, “persist data” refers to the concept that once data is recorded on the blockchain, it becomes immutable and cannot be altered or deleted. This means that the data is permanently stored and remains accessible indefinitely associated with your wallet ID.

We take steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of security is 100% effective, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
